Made of layered polyethylene film, aluminum and Astrolar reinforcing fabric. Can be used as a shelter or rain fly, wind barrier, ground cover protection, emergency medical blanket, heat reflector, and a number of other uses. Highly reflective silver side is great for reflecting heat back to the body. It will also work wonders as a heat reflective source from a campfire to a lean-to shelter. Doubles as a signaling device.
